Worship Bulletin

Welcome; we are very glad you are here.
Thought of the Day:
Years ago, I shared the gospel with a man for three hours. Then he finally declared he wanted to be born again and prayed according to Romans 10:9, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Afterward, I asked him if he meant what he prayed. To my amazement, he said, “No.” When I asked him to explain, he said, “I believe in my heart that God raised him from the dead, but I don’t believe he is Lord.” “You just called him ‘Lord’ in your prayer,” I responded. “Yes,” he said, “but I cannot believe that he's God.” Despite asking the Lord Jesus Christ to save him, this man did not believe what he prayed.
In Matthew 7:21, Jesus gives you a strong caution: saying that just uttering the right words doesn’t mean you understand or believe them. The Lord’s sermon in Matthew 7, is directed to believers. Jesus is speaking to those of us who attend church and call ourselves Christians. He warns us that it’s possible to say to Him, “Lord, Lord” and never enter the kingdom of heaven. In other words, saying Jesus is “Lord” is not the same as living your life in a way that reflects His leadership and influence.
These words are some of the most sobering words Jesus ever speaks. He asks you to pause and examine yourself. In what areas of your life do you call Jesus, ‘Lord’ but do not submit to Him? You cannot separate His Lordship from His role as your Savior. Come to Him and welcome His lordship in your financial decisions, career moves, and daily schedule.
Our goal should be a daily progress that brings more areas of our lives under Jesus’ lordship.
Anniversary Sunday:
Next week we will celebrate our church’s 55th anniversary. Let us get busy and invite all our friends and family to join the celebration, and let us commemorate all those who worked hard to establish this church.
Resurrection Day:
There are less than three short weeks left to the Resurrection Sunday. I trust that you and your family are also looking forward to this joyous time of the year that is the foundation of our “blessed Hope.”
The Amazing Creation:
Hippos and horses are actually distant relatives. All clownfish are born male. Turns out, a dog’s paw print is just as unique as a human’s. Good news for dog detectives. To keep from drifting apart, sea otters hold hands while they sleep. Goats from different regions have different “accents.”

"Verse of the Month" Contest.
Can you find our verse of the month? Every week, we will reveal a word or a phrase that is a part of one special verse in the Bible (KJV or NKJV). Those who find all the clues and guess the correct verse will receive a gift. But every person will have only one guess, and your wrong guess will disqualify you; so wait until you get more clues and you are absolutely sure.
We appreciate all of you who spend time in God's Word.
The final clue for the month of March is: "Cyrus." There are five clues for this month's verse. (when you are sure, send your answers to gmbc1610@gmail.com)
And; Good Luck.
The verse of February was Galatians 3:8
Congratulations to our winner for the month of February:
Brother George Tucker.
